Monthly Forums provide you
with the opportunity to confidentially explore problems and sensitive issues that may be inappropriate or premature to discuss within your own company. You'll receive the perspectives of practicing professionals, and you are not obligated to take their advice... unless you want to!


Forums are small group meetings at member facilities where topic discussions take place in a more personal, in-depth, and intimate atmosphere. Forums typically meet 11 times per year and allow members to experience the inner practices of other organizations through on-site visits. Forums provide deeper learning events and the accountability and support to make things happen.

Women's Key Leader Group - This small group meets monthly and is comprised of women in key C-level roles. The business acumen and discipline is the same as in our Key Leader Program, just that this group is all women. The group is facilitated by Patty Darke. Her experience spans the last 30 years and includes top executive positions within several different industries. She works at the C-level and specializes in Business to Business relationships.

Quarterly Roundtables introduce new ways of thinking about employee and customer care, strategic planning, and other critical business issues. These sessions are designed to provide a system for benchmarking your company against world-class strategies. Come, bring your business leadership team, and take away practical new ideas for your growing company. 

Marketing Busting Workshops - Market Busting Workshops are designed to teach your executive leadership team the classic components of designing an unbeatable market strategy while giving you the time to build it. These sessions are fast paced and highly focused. No frills, very little philosophy; just lots of roll-up-your-sleeves and get strategy on paper. Market Busting Workshops consist of eight three-hour sessions and are included in your Gold Executive Group membership. The value of this executive development series alone justifies your membership!

Culture Busting Workshops - We've created a four session series that will help you clarify or affirm you company's core values, purpose and vision in a language that attracts and engages your people. We'll also provide you with a culture audit survey and help you interpret the results. From there you'll have the information you need to develop a communication/debriefing plan as well as a framework for prioritizing your top initiatives for improvement. In our third workshop we'll help you evaluate your leadership and supervisory practices that have the biggest impact on your work environment. We'll leave you with a practical plan for developing your leadership. Finally, at about the 6-8 month mark, we'll reconvene for a final meeting to compare notes, surface best practices and celebrate results. None of us went to culture school and yet it is the 24/7 training program that never sleeps. Whether you use these workshops to help you win the Twin Cities Best Places to Work Award or whether you simply use them to ensure you are taking advantage of best practices, we promoise you'll get a lot of value out of the experience.

Sales Busting Workshops - We start with targeting the few AAA prospects who could change your business and who are pre-diposed to put a higher value on your offering. Then we exchange your positioning statement, your elevator speeches and your glossy collateral for a psychologically provocative value proposition. We help your team desing a visual differentiator, dollarize your benefits and build a campaign to reach the decision maker who can get your deal done. Then we teach you how to handle the face to face presentations in a way that shoots you to the head of the class. We even have a segment on proposal writing. All in all, we are very excited about sharing this process with you and believe you will want to go through it again and again as you target key customers for each of your offerings.

Strategy Busting Workshops --  Session one will be a high level view of your industry and the key trends that are reshaping your marketplace.  We’ll engage your team in exercises to expose the biggest game changing opportunities and to explore the most pertinent questions that apply to your unique situation.  The goal is to identify where your customers’ needs are heading / emerging and (if you decide to) plot an intercept course that puts you in the best position to profit from the change.  Session two is a review of your core business and the best strategies to improve margins, sales, recurring revenue and profits.  We’ll review your business model and get clear about why you are winning sales now.  The output of this session would be the 1 or 2 initiatives that could produce exponential results if executed effectively.  Session three incorporates the vital few initiatives from the first sessions along with an execution plan for the year.  These initiatives and their champions will be captured, monitored, and managed by plugging them into a two page Vision / Traction Organizer to ensure everyone in your company knows what is important and how they are contributing to your plan.  We’ll refer to and sometimes drill into the “Entrepreneurial Operating System” described in the book Traction and use it as a roadmap to insure your organization stays on track.

Retreats - We also schedule a long weekend each summer or fall in beautiful northern Minnesota or Wisconsin to allow our members and their spouses more social and recreation time. Other Executive Group recreational activities include pheasant hunting in South Dakota.
